As part of an under-cover research project into the sex industry, graduate student Lin Fan sets herself working at a local gentleman's bar. But the thin line Lin rides between this new moonlight profession and her ‘normal’ life are blurred in the red haze of an underground that plays by its own rules.
With a relationship that mixes illusion with reality and an underground culture that flaunts its extremes, Fan is thrust into a zone she didn’t know existed where she feels a stranger even in her own body.

Xiao Jun, an independent, young girl lived with her grandpa, bought the phone in the market. She started to receive those messages from Yu Dong…

Since Yu Dong’s wife got stroke, she lost her ability to move and speak. Going to see his wife in the nursing home every day after finishing the work in the hot spring house has become part of Yu Dong’s life. His daughter who worked far away from home often worried about them. In order to make her not worry too much, Yu Dong always pretended he’s all right and told her daughter everything is fine. Before he went to see his wife, he would stand in front of a mirror and practice a nice joke and a big, sweet smile. Most of his jokes were about their nice memories. He hoped his wife could be happy even though she’s in a bad condition. However, every time when he saw his wife smile back at him, a feeling of indescribable sorrow surged within his heart...
